We spent Labor Day weekend with Reese. She's really talking now and what she talks about a lot is chickens. Obsessively. She and her mommy saw some Guinea hens wandering around town one day and now all Reese wants to do is find the chickens. "Where they go?" So I decided to knit her one.
She seemed to like it. And every time she saw me knitting she asked if it was a chicken.
But it was a little shrug and hat for a new baby I know.

She cradles that chicken like a baby! Sweet.
Pretty baby girl! Also pretty sweater. Is there a link to the pattern? Might be one I could use.
oh my she is a cutie pie!
i love the chicken too... where did you find the pattern for it?
I don't know which is cuter--Reesel, the chicken or the baby knits.
I love this chicken! Of course her new "Mommy" is also very cute.
Aww, Reese and the chicken are adorable!
Oh, I miss that age. It's so interesting what fascinates them. Makes one see the world in a different way.
How great that you could whip up a chicken for her very own! And that sweater is lovely.
cute chicken, cuter little girl :)
Yep, that Reese is adorable. You are knitting up a storm if you whipped all these things out (in preparation for *ripping* out--the sweater!). I absolutely love the little hat and shrug and would love to know what pattern you used for the hat.
