Longest Socks Ever

I started these before Rhinebeck, I'm not sure exactly when but I was knitting them in the car on the way. I knit them at Stitches East. And I finally finished them on December 23. Seriously, I've never taken that long to knit socks. I'm blaming the Christmas knitting. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I got it on a really good sale from Webs but it pooled a bit on the foot, not sure I like that.

Those are really good-looking. I guess they were worth the wait!

Good things come to those who wait...or take their time. :-)

They're lovely! I'm not a fan of pooling either, but it looks like it just happened on the sole of the foot? The bit that you see looks really nice.

Lovely pattern! I'm adding it to my queue.

They look great... even if they did take a long time to knit! ;)

Sometimes things just need aging.

re: a green sweater KAL. I haven't got the pattern yet. I am waiting for SHP to work up a way to download patterns. I have... issues with paying $4.50 shipping for a 4-page pattern. I think the Feb Lady Sweater will be my Ravelympics project. Or a pr of socks. Still looking for a team.
